I have burned the turkey, it has filled the room with smoke,
I’m starting to feel like Xmas turned into a joke.
The person at the table is now tapping at his plate,
he tells me that he’s hungry, and he doesn’t want to wait.
I cannot really blame him, he has been very busy,
wrapping all the Xmas presents made him very dizzy.
He says it will be easy now, to fit inside the chimney,
because I haven’t fed him, and he’s getting very skinny.
