My Xmas Moment

I’ve done all the washing up, and everyone is happy
the fire is hot and welcoming, and I don’t feel as snappy.
Preparing for this Xmas has been one enormous task,
despite all the pressure, I put on a happy mask.
Now it’s time for me as I am sipping at my sherry,
Here as I relax, I am beginning to feel merry.
