Children live on instinct, that is all they’ve got.
They haven’t trained in bullshit, like the adults with a lot.
You can never force a child to trust you if it can’t.
They don’t use your tactics, they don’t see things at a slant.
With those eyes of honesty, they show their love and hate.
Don’t under-estimate a child, or make them hesitate,
it’s just yourself you’re fooling and you’ll realise too late.
