Clever Control

Under your guise of being as helpless as me

your evil plan unravels, like a spider roping in a fly.

You assume I won’t notice, that I’m too naïve to see,

not clever enough to work it out.

It’s too painful for me to admit how callous you are.

I feel compelled to pacify you, I am intimidated.

You spelled out the actions I thought I made,

using the power of persuasion.

You pulled my arms and legs up and down like a puppet,

dictating my every move.

Brainwashed me into thinking my ideas were mine,

but they were yours.
